CM taking steps for Golden Telangana: Laxma Reddy

Hyderabad, June 6 (NSS): Health & Medical Minister C. Laxma Reddy today said the Telangana State was making rapid strides and witnessing fast growth in all spheres under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who achieved the statehood. “We, the Telangana leaders, including KCR, did not vie for posts but only struggled for the statehood by sacrificing existing posts in the long battle”, he pointed out.

Giving away cheques under Rythu Bandhu and Kalyana Lakshmi schemes at a Revenue meeting in Mothi Ghanapur village under Balanagar mandal in Jadcherla Assembly constituency, the minister said Telangana State has acquired No 1 position in development at the national level. “KCR, who spearheaded the statehood struggle, has complete knowledge and understanding of all sectors, including issues and challenges and coming up with unique schemes that will help everyone in one way or the other in the State”, he said. “We will achieve golden Telangana through programs and schemes. Persistent efforts were being made by the KCR Government for development of the State and welfare of the people”, he said.

The cheques under Rythu Bandhu Scheme will prove handy as it will deter the farmers to go in for getting loans. This scheme, he said, is first of its kind in the country and no other State in the history of the country, ever launched such a welfare scheme. The Health Minister also said the Chief Minister has conducted land cleansing survey in a short period and got the details of the lands and farmers for better implementation of the schemes. He exhorted the farmers who did not receive chequest not to worry about it as the government was committed to help every farmer. The government was using its machinery to address the problems in a phased manner, he added.
