Hyderabad, May 15 (NSS): TPCC election coordination committee chairman Marri Shashidhar Reddy on Wednesday said their doubts regarding irregularities in the Lok Sabha elections were gaining credence. He alleged that the Election Commission was trying to hide its “mistakes”.
Noting that the returning officers should give details of the total votes polled soon after polling was over at 5 pm on the polling day, Shashidhar Reddy said they had urged the EC to provide details of votes polled in 17 Lok Sabha seats.
He also alleged that there was something fishy in the increase of polling. Reddy said there was a need to reveal all the developments that took place after 5 pm in the evening. He said their doubts were only growing as the EC also remained silent on the issue. (NSS)
