Afghanistan CG: India and Afghanistan have a strong relationship, historical-cultural links

The Consulate General of I. R. of Afghanistan at Hyderabad presents its best compliment to the Media.

Indian and Afghanistan have a strong relationship based on historical and cultural links. The bilateral relations between Afghanistan and India have remained strong and friendly over the decades.

The Consulate General in Hyderabad promotes Afghan Interests and Afghanistan-India mutual relationships in the state of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, and Kerala. It is indeed an immense pleasure and honor to further strengthen the mutual relationship between Afghanistan and India. Afghanistan is a great Nation with natural resources, agriculture, and abundant infrastructure in energy, communication, education, transport, and health. We look forward to evening more trade relations with India in these fields and looking forward to promoting and encourage businessmen.

Hence, we came up with a Ten Day Food Festival in partnership with CD Foundation to set up a platform for the establishment of mutual interest of both India and Afghanistan.

This festival will start on 1st April and will be on until 10th of April. The venue will be Hotel Trident, Hitech City Road, Madhapur. 1st of April will be the inauguration of the event followed by various cultural events. After the gala inauguration of 1st of April which will highlight Afghanistan’s beauty, culture, music, colors and food. We have important trade meets during the Ten days festival which will not only have food and handicrafts display on the ten days but also four Major Trade meets:

3rd April – Filmmakers meet with famous filmmaker Sara Karimi from Kabul and Filmmakers from South Indian. Sara Karimi is an Oscar-nominated international renowned filmmaker. She is also the Director of Afghan Films.

6th April – Buyer/Seller meet for Dry fruits/tea/commodity and handicrafts (B2B meeting) we invite dry fruit businessmen, Buyers, from South India to come and meet Dry fruit traders from Afghanistan. There are also other in-demand popular commodities exported from Afghanistan like Hing, Dry Fruit, Saffron, and many more.

7th April – Workshop on Import / Export between India and Afghanistan. We invite entrepreneurs to attend the workshop and we also want to let them know that Afghanistan is a land of opportunities and investment.

8th April – B2B meeting for Healthcare/ Pharmacy/ Agribusiness/ Infrastructure. We invite all corporates and businessmen from these fields to come and attend the business meet and connect to the Consulate office for the invitation.

All these ten days will be a display of Afghanistan food, handicrafts, carpets, dry fruits and many more.

Afghanistan is a land of opportunities and investment.
