Hyderabad, June 23 (NSS): The death anniversary of BJP founder Shyama Prasad Mukerjee was held at the State party office here on Sunday. The State BJP president Dr K. Laxman, former Union minister Bandaru Dattatraya, BJP national general secretary Muralidhar Rao and others participated in the event.
Speaking on the occasion, the BJP leaders recalled the selfless services of Mukherjee and revealed that the BJP founder had differed with then Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru over Jammu & Kashmir issue. They said Mukherjee also fought on the issues like autonomy to Jammu & Kashmir, Article 370 and the country having two PMs. (NSS)
