Hyderabad, May 29 (NSS): Telangana BJP president Dr K Laxman today said the party would undertake bus yatra christened as “parivarthan yatra” for highlighting failure of state government failure.
The aim of the yatra is to create awareness among the people about the failures of the TRS government. The party also evolving strategies to achieve victory in coming elections in Telangana state, Laxman said while talking to media persons at party office here.
The party has prepared an action plan to achieve the goal in panchayat elections as well as 2019 elections, he said adding that bus yatra would be conducted in phased manner across the state, he said. As part of yatra, party leaders would spend a night once in a month in dalitwadas under “Palle Nidra” programme and would propagate central government welfare schemes, the party chief said.
Laxman gave details of decisions taken in state executive meeting held recently. He said introducing new zonal system in the state is an unilateral decision of the TRS government. Chief Minister KCR has taken the decision without consulting the opposition parties, he lamented and found flaws in zonal system as well as land survey records. Party national president Amit Shah is likely to visit state in the month of June, he said.
