Hyderabad, Sept.26 (NSS): “Generally a state government will work hard to fulfil its promises made to people before the elections, but it seems KCR government and its ministers are in hurry for commissions and fill up their pockets if we go through their acts in calling tenders when elections for state assembly are around the corner,” said Telangana state BJP Vice President and ex-MLA NVSS Prabhakar here today.
Speaking to media at state party office here in the city Prabhakar alleged that KCR government was known for deceiving the people with its hollow promises and now added that the government was busy in how to loot the public exchequer by implementing un-productive programmes.
“State Municipal administrative minister KTR has laid foundation for bridges on Musi river worth of Rs 540 crore and called tenders for it. This programme can not be construed as a development work and it is merely meant for commissions,” the BJP leader alleged.
He alleged that the BRS government was not able to pay salaries to its employees and added public work contractors in GHMC limits and rural areas were agitating for payments of their completed works bills.
“Besides free medicine in Wellness centres are not being distributed as KCR government has failed to sanction funds for this purpose,” Prabhakar accused.
Referring to renewal of liquor shops licenses, the BJP senior leader said that there would be time period for each tender and added that this government had called for tenders before the expiry of the earlier tenders for additional revenue. Even calling tenders for toll gates for 30 years agreement is condemnable, he said.(
