
Hyderabad, Sept 27 (INN): Finance and Health Minister T Harish Rao on Wednesday said that the BRS manifesto would be released soon and that it would be good news for all sections of society.
He was speaking at a meeting after unveiling a statue of Acharya Konda Laxman Bapuji in Toopran on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
Harish Rao praised Bapuji for his sacrifices for Telangana and his fight for the poor. He also said that the Telangana Government has been officially organising Bapuji’s birth and death anniversaries.
The minister said that Toopran had developed tremendously since the formation of Telangana state. He attributed the development to the leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. He said that the opposition was trying to denigrate KCR’s work, but that the people of Telangana were aware of his achievements. He urged the people to counter the opposition’s lies by talking about the welfare schemes and development projects implemented by the government.
Harish Rao also said that Telangana was the only state which had continued its welfare schemes and development projects even during the Covid-19 pandemic. He also said that the BRS manifesto would be released soon and that it would contain good news for all sections of society.

ZP Chairperson Hemalatha, Forest Development Corporation Chairman Onteru Pratap Reddy, District Collector Rajarshi Shah, local leaders, and public representatives attended the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Haris Rao said that he was happy to inaugurate the PHC in Manoharabad and that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) had made the decades-long dream of making Manoharabad a mandal a reality. He said that the PHC would provide 24-hour service, free tests and medical services, and checkups for pregnant women.
Harish Rao praised KCR for his development work in Telangana and said that Manoharabad would not have become a mandal or witnessed such development without him. He also announced that a police station would soon be granted to Manoharabad.
He said that 76 per cent of deliveries in Telangana were now taking place in government hospitals. He said that the State Government was providing KCR Kits to mothers who deliver in government hospitals.
