
Hyderabad, Sept 18 (INN): The special session of Parliament began on Monday with protests from BRS members.
BRS MPs raised slogans in both houses of Parliament demanding the introduction of reservation bills for women and BCs in the legislatures. BRS party leader Nama Nageswara Rao in the Lok Sabha and BRS party leader K Keshav Rao in the Rajya Sabha led the agitation. They displayed placards demanding the introduction of reserved bills in both houses and demanded that 33 per cent reservation for BCs and 33 per cent for women be implemented in the legislatures.
Earlier, BRS MPs met in Delhi to discuss their strategy for the special sessions of Parliament.
