Kurnool, Nov.11 (NSS): Former Union minister and BJP senior leader Daggubati Purandeshwari today asserted that the Centre was committed to development of Andhra Pradesh State.
Speaking to the media here today, Purandeshwari said the Centre was ready to sanction money needed by the State for its development. But, the State government and the TDP leaders were spreading false information against the Centre, she alleged, adding that the ruling party was levelling baseless allegations saying that the Modi government was not cooperating in the development of the residual State which is highly condemnable.
On the efforts of TDP president and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu making the non-BJP parties united, Purandeshwari said there would be no problems for the party and the BJP would retain power in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Referring to the alliance between the arch rivals Congress and the TDP, Purandeshwari said the TDP had strongly criticised Congress party during 2014 elections and now what message TDP will give to people by having an alliance with Congress. She also said the BJP was committed to the Rayalaseema declaration, she added. (NSS)
