Hyderabad, June 8 (INN): Finance and Health Minister Harish Rao alleged that there was no development under the Congress Party. He said that the Congress party had not done anything for the people. He said that in Karnataka, where that party is in power, drinking water is available once in three days. Minister Harish Rao laid the foundation stone for the new building of the Arekati Sangam in Zaheerabad town of Sangareddy district on Thursday.
Later, Harish Rao said that the Telangana government has brought all kinds of development and welfare schemes out of love for the people. Earlier they used to provide drinking water with tankers in Zaheerabad but with the idea of CM KCR, water is being served to every house by installing taps, he said.
The minister said that corporate-level facilities are being provided in government hospitals and better treatment is being provided. He said that a 50-bed MCH Hospital is being constructed in Zaheerabad. He said that nutrition kits will be distributed to pregnant women from June 14. He said that soon 700 double-bedroom houses will be distributed to the beneficiaries in Zaheerabad. For the construction of houses for those who have their own land, Rs. 3 lakhs are going to be deposited in the account of the beneficiaries, he informed. (INN)
