Congress levels allegations on KCR over irrigation projects

Hyderabad, May 19 (NSS): The Congress party leaders have levelled serious allegations against CM KCR on the issue of construction of lift irrigation projects in the state. They alleged that the CM was trying earn huge amount of commission in the name of the construction of the lift irrigation projects in the state.

TPCC president and MP N. Uttam Kumar Reddy said that they would hold a protest program against the contrived pothireddyapdu head regulator issue on June 2 on the state formation day. He said no state government of the country has invited tenders for the lift irrigation projects except telangana government. He alleged that CM KCR had finalised the Kaleswaram and Dummugudem Projects on 8 percent commission. He also alleged that the relative of CM KCR Muralidhar Rao is taking care of all the deals on behalf of the CM and added that Rao was being extension every year despite his retirement from service. Commenting on the decision of CM to extend Rythu Bandhu benefits to those who cultivate the crops suggested by the state government, he said that the Farmers of the State would oppose it while making it clear that the farmers would always cultivate crops that are suitable to their lands. He said that their protest program would be held at SLBC Tunnel.

Another MP K. Venkat Reddy made it clear that the congress party was opposing GO 203 issued by AP government. He alleged that the traitor of Telangana state CM KCR was responsible for the GO. He asked KCR as to how he allowed his AP counterpart YS Jagan into His camp office Pragathi Bhavan. He said that KCR was an inefficient leader who didn’t complete the construction of the irrigation projects that have been completed 70 percent. He alleged that the CM was planning to turn the entire south Telangana into a desert in phased manner. He asked the CM As to why he was not able to complete the south Telangana based irrigation projects when he could complete the 90 percent of the works of kaleswaram lift irrigation project. He alleged that neither state ministers nor ruling party MLAs has guts to Corner KCR on the issue. Targeting Telangana state Legislative council chairman G. Sukhender Reddy for his recent comments, he alleged that the chairman was a political broker. He advised KCR to ask his daughter about the existence of the opposition political parties in the state. He said that they would meet prime minister Narendra Modi on the issue of the controversial GO of AP government and added that they would also fight on the issue in the parliament.
