Hyderabad, April.28 : Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today lashed out at the main Opposition Congress for failing to see development and welfare in all sectors.
Addressing the media at TRS Legislature Party office here on Saturday, Srinivas Yadav accused the Congress leaders of indulging in carrying out misinformation campaign against the development programs and completion of irrigation projects in record time. “We have successfully prevented migration of farmers and people from Mahbubnagar by distributing irrigation waters to the crops, he said.
Parched lands of Palamur have got irrigation waters and migrants and workers are returning to their villages for cultivation and take up their professions, he claimed. Lakes, ponds and water bodies are abundant with waters with Mission Kakatiya and minor irrigation is on right track, he said. However, the jealousy Congress leaders were not able to digest the monumental development in the State, he chided. Though the Congress ministers of other States were appreciating the Telangana schemes and programs, the Congress leaders in the State were getting upset and were making false allegations, he fumed. He also slammed the TPCC leader Uttam Kumar Reddy for his “meaningless” remarks that Pragathi Bhavan has some 150 rooms.
The minister sought to know as to why they failed to question then Chief Minister late YS Rajasekhar Reddy when he built a camp office at Begumpet. The Opposition has no right to talk against the projects and dynastic politics. The Congress leaders have failed to quit their posts of ministers and others during the statehood movement, he said.
