
Hyderabad, March 31 (RAHNUMA):Director General of Police Shri Anjani Kumar IPS (HoPF) graced the valedictory function of the program on 29th March 2023 as Chief Guest.
DGP stressed on the requirement of getting cyber-readiness in the field of law along-with sound knowledge Cyber Crime Preventiontechniques forboth Law enforcement agencies and Judiciary to deal with the modern day challenges of Cyber world.
DGP Shri Anjani Kumar also said challenges in Cyber Crime Investigation are iimense. The one thing that helps us surpass these challenges is awareness as apparently 50 percent of crime reported these days are cybercrime.
The program was inaugurated by Additional DG of CID Shri Mahesh Bhagwat IPS on 27th March 2023.
State CID is the Nodal agency to conduct the program in the state under CCPWC (Cyber Crime Prevention against Women and Children) program of Ministry of Home Affairs.
MCRHRD IT being the Apex and Nodal agency for training in the state conducted the aforementioned programme in six batches with modelling a target oriented curriculum focussing in areas of cybercrime data points, investigation, and procedural requirements &redressal and existing cyber laws in the countries.
DG MCR HRD Shri Benhur Mahesh Dutt Ekka IAS supervised the conduct of all six programs which have started on 11th Jan 2023 till the last programme which was successfully completed on 29th March 2023 covering 41 Judicial Officers and 100 Public Prosecutors. DG MCR HRDalso ensured latest and noteworthy learnings in field of Cyber Crime and Cyber Law are encapsulated in the training curriculum towards gaining domain level knowledge for the judicial officers and public prosecutors in cyber-space.
This program is mandated to enhance the competencies of Judicial Officers& Public Prosecutors to handle case of Cyber Crime in more efficient and effective manner with outcomes benefiting the mission.
Director (IT &eL) Smt. Sridevi Ayaluri of Dr. MCR HRD IT who also happened to be the course director of the aforementioned program ensured the smooth conduct and delivery of the training program as per the mandates of MHA, Govt. of India.
