Hyderabad, Oct.15 (NSS): The election buzz started in Telangana and political parties have launched their election campaigning at several places across the State. On the other hand, the Election Commission too launched exercise to control the money flow in the election campaign. The EC dispatched its squads to plunge into action.
As part of the drive, an election squad conducted checking at Gurunanak Engineering College in Ibrahimpatnam in Ranga Reddy district on Monday and seized Rs 27 lakh cash in a car. The EC officials identified the person, who was shifting the money as Adibhatla vice-sarpanch Palle Gopal. On the other hand, the Opposition parties leaders were alleging that Palle Gopal was an aide of TRS former MLA Manchireddy Kishan Reddy and they were shifting money only to spend in the election campaign.
