Hyderabad, Feb 7 (INN): Excise Minister Srinivas Goud has directed the officials to ensure the complete eradication of Gudumba in the state. He was speaking after a review meeting with the officials of the Excise department at his camp office in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
On this occasion, he discussed the nitty-gritty of the opening ceremony of ‘Neera Cafe’, which was built ambitiously by the government. The Minister directed the officials of the Prohibition and Excise Department to improve their performance.
The minister directed the officials to complete the works of chilling plants attached to Neera Cafe at a fast pace. As per the orders of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, the minister directed the officials to ensure the complete eradication of Gudumba in the state. Minister Srinivas Goud has ordered that no tribal woman should lose her husband to Gudumba in the state due to spurious liquor.
Excise Commissioner Sarfaraz Ahmed, Commissioner Ajay Rao, Deputy Commissioners David Ravikant, KAB Shastri, Assistant Commissioner Chandraiah, ES Vijay Bhaskar and others participated in this program.
