Hyderabad, Sept.10 (NSS): Congress MP A. Revanth Reddy on Tuesday reiterated his allegation that both ruling TRS party and Opposition BJP had a secret pact in the State. He said the press statement of the newly appointed Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan hailing the Kaleswaram lift irrigation project being built by the State was a classic example to this effect. He also asked the BJP State president Laxman if the information pertaining to the Kaleswaram project was provided by them to the Governor or the CM of the State.
Citing that the State Unit Of the BJP has always termed the Kaleswaram lift irrigation project as full of corruption, he said the BJP should have lodged a complaint with the Central government over the liberal praise of the State government by the newly appointed Governor Tamilisai. He demanded that the BJP state Unit President Laxman to react on the issue. He made it clear that the Congress party would continue to fight on the issue of corruption by the state government and added that they would also soon meet the Governor and submit all evidences of corruption in the Kaleswaram project and Power Purchase Agreements.
