Guv to inaugurate ‘Ayurveda Parv’ in Rajahmundry today

Vijayawada, Nov.17 (NSS): Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan is scheduled to visit Rajamahendravaram on Friday to inaugurate ‘Ayurveda Parv’, the three-day national-level program organized by Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (RARI), here in association with the Ministry of AYUSH and Vinoba Seva Pratisthan, an NGO.

The program’s main objective is to popularize Ayurveda as a mainstream treatment for current lifestyle diseases and spread awareness on the facilities available in the State for Ayurveda treatment. Giving details of the Governor’s tour program, R.P. Sisodia, Special Chief Secretary to Governor, said Governor Harichandan will reach Rajamahendravaram by helicopter at 10.45 am on Friday. He will reach Anam Kala Kendra, the venue of the program by 11.30 and participate in the ‘Ayurveda Parv’ program. Later, the Governor will return to Vijayawada by helicopter on the same day.
