I will restore past glory to Telugus: Chandrababu

Vijayawada, April 20 (NSS): Telugu Desam Party national president Nara Chandrababu Naidu today vowed that he would work hard for brining back the past glory to Telugu community. He said he had prayed presiding deity Kanaka Durga to give him more strength to fight on behalf of the people of the State.

He made these remarks after performing prayers at the famous Kanaka Durga temple on the hillocks of the city on the occasion of his birthday. The priests of the temple blessed Naidu on the occasion besides performing the special prayers. Speaking to media persons later, Naidu said the TDP would fight for the development of the Telugu people, irrespective of their place of residence. He said Telugu people from across the globe were celebrating his birthday in different parts of the world and added that the Telugu people were also conveying their greetings to him on his birthday while thanking all those who greeted him. He said he would lead his party to success by reaching the expectations of his supporters and well wishers. He hoped he would ensure the victory of his party in the State in the next Assembly elections.

Party workers celebrate Birthday

Meanwhile, several party leaders and workers celebrated the birthday of their beloved leader at different parts of the State by cutting cakes. The leaders also called on Naidu and conveyed their birthday greetings.
