Hyderabad, Sept 18 (INN): IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao has strongly condemned the teaser of the controversial movie ‘Razakar’ produced by BJP leader Gudur Narayana Reddy.
The teaser for the movie based on the merger of erstwhile Hyderabad State into the Indian Union in 1948 has sparked controversy. Netizens, religious leaders, and political party leaders who have seen the teaser have expressed strong objections to the movie, criticizing it for distorting history.
When a user on the micro-blogging site X tagged Minister KTR, DGP Anjani Kumar and others asking to stop the release of the movie and also the teaser as it creates hatred between communities, KTR responded by saying, “Some intellectually bankrupt BJP jokers are trying their best to create communal hatred in Telangana for their selfish politics. We will take the matter of the Razakar movie to the notice of the Censor Board. The Telangana police will also ensure that the law and order situation is not damaged.”
