Interrogate those who got over 100 marks in group-1 prelims: Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad, March 19 (NSS): TPCC chief and Congress MP A. Revanth Reddy today demanded that the State government interrogate all those who secured more than 100 marks in group-1 preliminary exam. He also asked the State government to bring to fore the role players by TSPSC officer Shankara Laxmi in the question paper leak scam. He reiterated his demand to the State government that it should hold an inquiry by a sitting judge of the High Court.

          Speaking to media persons at Gandhari mandal headquarters of Kamareddy district, Reddy alleged that the police had threatened to kill the accused of the Paper leak case in an encounter if they revealed the names of the big wigs involved in the paper leak case. Making it clear that the Employees of the TSPSC are not eligible to write the exams conducted by it, he wondered as to how 20 employees of the commission appeared for the exams. He said an employee of the commission was selected as the group-1 officer in the past.

          Targeting Industries Minister KTR, he asked the former as to how he would put the blame only on the two accused of the paper leak case even before completion of the ongoing inquiry. He alleged that the PA of KTR played an important role in leaking the group-1 preliminary question paper and added that the PA has links with the key accused in the paper leak case Rajasekhara Reddy while noting that the two are the natives of the neighbouring villages. He also alleged that KTR had given job to Rajasekhara Reddy on the recommendation of his PA. He also said 100 persons from Malyal mandal of Jagitial district got 100 marks in the group-1 preliminary exam.

Revanth Reddy also alleged that irregularities had taken place in 2016 group-1 exam and added that a woman job aspirant, who appeared for the exams directly after landing in the State from America got the first rank in the 2016 group-1 exam results  and added that an employee of the commission got the fourth rank in the same exam. He said 25 job aspirants, who appeared for the group-2

Exam at the same place for jobs. He alleged that paper leak was monitored from the office of the State minister KTR. He also said they would argue before the High Court in connection with the paper leak case on Monday. (NSS)
