HYDERABAD, Jan 1st, 2023 (RAHNUMA): Special Envoy of Iran’s Supreme Leader Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei – His Eminence Ayatollah Mahdi Mahdavipour came for a visit today to the Rahnuma-E-Deccan office to discuss Hijab protests and reform in Iran with Syed Vicaruddin’s successor Syed Ahmed Khan.
Ayatollah Mahdavipour is the first highest-ranking foreign official to have visited the residence since Syed Vicaruddin’s passing a year ago.
Ayatollah Mahdavipour concluded his meeting by extending an official invite to Syed on behalf of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei for a visit to the Imam Ali Musa Raza Shrine in Mashad, Iran.
In a letter addressed to the Iranian government, Syed Ahmed Khan referred to examples in Islam’s history to recommend the Supreme Leader release all protestors, especially females, from prison, grant general amnesty to all those arrested, for more freedom to protest and critique their own elected government, for the Supreme Leader to instruct hospitals to treat the injured on government expense, compensate all Iranians who have been impacted by loss of property, employment, life or other damages, and for an apology to all Iranians, especially to its females for their feeling disappointed and let down by the elected government, particularly in those areas wherein Islam is being used as an excuse to destroy lives.
