Thus against this background, all eyes would be focused on the future moves of KCR to make his foray into national politics. Will he be compelled to change his stance towards the Congress and sail along with others for united Opposition to counter BJP in the 2019 elections? Only the coming days would unfold the future plans of KCR in this regard.
However, for the moment, KCR is leaving no stone unturned to emerge as the Messiah of farmers by initiating various welfare schemes for the farmers like the unique and revolutionary program of Rythu Bandhu by which 58 lakh farmers would be provided with an investment subsidy of Rs 8,000 per acre per annum involving a staggering amount of Rs 12,000 crore. He has also announced the waiver of water cess for the farming community. All these welfare schemes for farmers are being widely publicized through advertisements in various national electronic and print media.
It is clearly evident that whether or not his moves for a Federal Front would materialize, KCR definitely want to make his own mark on the national scenario as a true “Rythu Bandhu” of the farmers.
