Komati threatens to file contempt of court case

Nalgonda, June 5 (NSS): Congress leader and Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today charged Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao with showing discrimination towards other constituencies except Siddipet and Sircilla. He warned that he would file Contempt of the Court petition on June 6 if the State government failed to restore his membership of Assembly by today evening.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Komatireddy said Medical colleges have been allotted to Nalgonda and Suryapet districts but the government allotted huge funds to Siddipet Medical college than Nalgonda college. KCR allotted huge funds to his constituency and was showing discrimination towards Nalgonda. The KCR government was also extending ex gratia to the bereaved families differently when compared with their region to Nalgonda. KCR government gave Rs 250 crore order to Sircilla saris ignoring other regions in the State, he lamented and asked KCR to tell whether he was Chief Minister to only Siddipet and Sircilla.

Stating that the TRS government also allotted funds to Kaleswaram project but there were no funds to the SLBC project, Komatireddy said and questioned the Chief Minister whether Nalgonda was not part of Telangana State. The Chief Minister, who had stated before formation of the separate State that he would complete the SLBC project by sitting on chair near project site, was neglecting it now. The Chief Minister was neglecting SLBC because the project was launched with his force, he said. He also alleged that the Chief Minister was harassing him because he questioned Mission Bhagiratha scheme.

Stating that the farmers will be developed if remunerative price was given to their produce,  Komatireddy said the Chief Minister deceived the unemployed youth saying he would announce 50,000 jobs on June 2. The State government was hatching a conspiracy to close down the TSRTC, he alleged and made it clear that the Congress would extend full support to the justified demands of the RTC workers. He lamented that the murder of his follower Boddupalli Srinu, his expulsion from Assembly and removal of gunmen were conspiracy of KCR government.
