Hyderabad (Rahnuma) Industries Minister K.T. Rama Rao has said that the State government would make all efforts to strengthen the position of Hyderabad in the field of life sciences.
Hyderabad has already emerged as the capital of life sciences-pharma sector and in the coming days, many steps would be taken to ensure the development of pharma and life Sciences sector with the city as the centre, he said.
Mr. Rama Rao announced the theme for the Bio Asia conference — ‘Today for Tomorrow’ — to be held in February 2020. He also inaugurated the website of Bio Asia at the office of TSIIC here on Wednesday.
Bio Asia conference has already emerged as one of the prominent life sciences programmes in the world and it would attract experts in the two fields and delegates from various countries. In fact, Bio Asia conference was key for Hyderabad emerging as the capital of life sciences, he said.
Switzerland would be the partner country for the Bio Asia conference and Germany would be the joint partner while Assam and Kerala would be the State partners, Mr.Rama Rao said.
