Lebanon, Saudi Arabia to activate economic agreements

BEIRUT (Rahnuma): Lebanese Industry Minister Wael Abou Faour agreed on Tuesday with Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Lebanon Walid Al-Bukhari to activate investment and economic agreements between Saudi Arabia and Lebanon, the National News Agency (NNA) reported.

“The two sides discussed the potential of expanding and enhancing food industries in Lebanon which can cater to the needs of people in the kingdom and the rest of the Gulf,” a statement published by NNA said.

Abou Faour said that cooperation with the kingdom is advanced on the economic and political level.

“We should preserve our cooperation and we will work on strengthening economic exchange between the two countries,” he said.
