Hyderabad, May 29 (NSS): Minister for Energy Jagadish Reddy today inaugurated the newly laid six-kilometer approach Road connecting Kadilabavi thanda to Ayudhu Donal thanda and also flagged off R.T.C Bus to connect remote tribal village Ayidhu donala thanda to mainstream first time after the independence.
Rachakonda Commissioner of Police Mahesh M. Bhagwat, IPS, Munugod MLA Prabhakar Reddy, Choutuppal RDO Suresh, DCP Bhongir-Yadadri Ramchandra Reddy, R.T.C. J.D. Venkat Rao, Forest Range Officer, local Sarpanch, ZPTC, MPP and 400 tribals were present on this occasion. Rachakonda is an adopted village with its four thandas by Rachakonda Police Commissionerate as the name Rachakonda of the Commissionerate originate from Rachakonda fort on the foot hills of which this village is located. In February -2017 a mega health camp for 2000 tribals was organized by the Police.
During the program on realizing that this area is away from communication, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda has coordinated with BSNL and Forest department and by laying optical fiber cable BSNL tower got erected and inaugurated on January 23. In that Program village sarpanch of Rachakonda Sagar has requested to connect remote Ayidhu donala thanda to main stream by formation of approach road for Kadal bavi thanda and flying of RTC buses.Woods are lovely –Dark and Deep–But I have Promises to Keep–But miles to go before I sleep. Keeping the promise, Rachakonda Police engaged the tribals in voluntary work for road formation and also hired services of the contractor with Rs 4 Lakh community policing fund. On March 22 Road formation work was started and the same has been inaugurated today in the hands of Minister Jagadish Reddy.
On this occasion, there was a festive atmosphere in the village with the tribal ladies of Lambada community in their traditional attire seen singing and dancing. Police Kala brundalu performed on fake news/rumors on social media appealing people not to believe on it. Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda has expressed his gratitude to Forest Department for their Cooperation and Congratulated Bhongir-Yadadri zone Police for execution of the work. “Once the road is there automatically there will be development, this road has brought window of civilization to tribals of Ayidhu donela thanda”
Commissioner of Police said. M.L.A Munugode appreciating the efforts of Rachakonda Police has promised villages to help them in getting the patta for the land. Minister Jagadish Reddy while thanking the Chief Minister for formation of Rachakonda Commissionerate promised villagers to solve land related issues in coordination with Revenue department. Being the first ever minister who has visited Ayidhu donala thanda, he has appreciated the role of Police in not only maintaining Law & Order maintenance, but citizen friendly Policing by taking of the activity of (06) Kms Road formation. DCP Bhongir-Yadadri Ramchandra Reddy village Sarpanch, ZPTC, MPP also spoke on this occasion.
