Hyderabad, Dec.12 (NSS): Congress MLA T Jayaprakash Reddy on Thursday extended his wishes to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on completing one year rule in the State.
Addressing mediapersons here today, Reddy alleged that the State government failed to fulfil even a single promise made by it before the Assembly elections last year. He also made it clear that no section of the society was happy as the State turned debt ridden with Rs 3 lakh crore. He said the promises like unemployment wage to the unemployed youth, loan waiver to farmers, creating new jobs and PRC were not implemented so far.
He also expressed his concern over the 5th rank secured by the State in corruption. On the education sector, he alleged that the sector was completely damaged and the State government was now saying that it would close down 12,000 government schools thereby depriving poor students of education. He also said the State secured 13th rank in the education sector. Reddy claimed that 36 lakh farmers did not get loans so far from the State government.
