Hyderabad (RAHNUMA) “You can make all kinds of images of Him. That’s not the Lord Jesus Christ. If any man should ever come and say, “Look, there he is,” or “Here he is,” don’t believe it. Why? Because when you actually meet Him, you are going to meet your Self. The Christ of faith comes to us as one unknown; yet one who, in some strange ineffable mystery, lets us experience who He is; and when we experience Jesus Christ, we experience Him in the first-person, singular, present-tense experience. You will never see Him coming from without. Let no one tell you you’re going to meet Him coming from without.” – Neville Goddard
According to Neville, Jesus’ return is an inner experience for each individual person. For Muslim Sages, Christ represents the highest of all mystical teachings prior to the era of the Seal of Prophets – self-realization, a profession of one’s inner reality – the ‘I Am the Truth, I Am the Way’ within Man.
Neville believed the original teachings of the Gospels taught one needed to experience Christ’s return within.
During the earthly life of the Prophet Muhammad salutations and blessings upon him, who is described in the Holy Quran as the Blazing Lamp, the vast majority of the earth’s population also lived in a state of absolute darkness, not aware of his physical presence on earth at the time, and most died in that state. This was also true with the Immaculate Imams of Ahl al-Bayt.
In fact, most people outside the Arabian Peninsula except the few documented names, like those who traveled from Persia, India, and Rome, etc., to Makkah to meet the Holy Prophet physically, lived in the dark, unable to hear or see him.
Other then the Ishmaelites of Makkah and Israelites who settled in Arabia who had immediate physical proximity to the Holy Prophet Muhammad during his life, most people on earth continued to live in ignorance and darkness about his physical presence on earth.
This was also the case with the immaculate Twelve Imams of Ahl al-Bayt.
Other than the Ishmaelites (Arabs) and some Israelites, the rest of the world; Europe, Russia, China, Africa, Australia, North America, South America, Alaska, etc., with some rare exceptions, did not meet or experience the Imams or the Seal of Prophets during their physical presence on earth, despite the fact, for example, that the Seal of Prophets was gracefully present on earth for 63 beautiful years!
This suggests most people are unable to see these illuminated beings, despite staring right at them.
Under the influence of the ancient Egyptian Hermetic teachings transmitted by the Greek translators, Plato concluded ‘God is within’.
Ibn Arabi, whose teachings were antithetical to Ghazzali’s, embraced like the Monist Ibn Rushd, the Greek and Hermetic teachings, and in his Fusus associated each Prophet with a Name, Word (sound, vibration, frequency) which could also be experienced within.
Blake said; “In your own Bosom you bear your heaven and earth, And all you behold, though it appears without, It is within, in your imagination, Of which this world of mortality is but a shadow.”
Perhaps before Netanyahu delivers on his on video promise to cause the Jewish Messiah to appear without by creating chaos at the Haram Al-Sharif, and before America’s Evangelicals attempt to greet the Christ without by destroying what’s left of the Two-State Solution with support for Netanyahu’s latest Jordan Valley annexation plan, and before Iran’s leaders attempt to greet the Awaited Mahdi without, by starting Armageddon in the region, all three ought to try to embrace the Messiah Christ and Mahdi within.
