PM striving for filling jobs & opening hospitals for people: Kishan

Hyderabad, Jan.14 (RAHNUMA): Union minister G Kishan Reddy today said Prime Minister Narendra Modi would flag off Vande Bharat Express train virtually on Sunday. In this connection, invitations were sent to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and others.

Stating that the Narendra Modi government has been striving with motto of public welfare, Kishan Reddy said as part of his plan, the Prime Minister was committed to fill 10 lakh jobs and every month one lakh posts will be filled. He also made it clear that employment notifications would be given from the third week of the month. He also disclosed that so far, vacant posts were filled in two phases and appointment letters will be sent to the job-seekers on January 20.

The Union minister said the Union government was giving highest importance to Public Health. He said under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, the Union government established 1.5 lakh wellness centres all over the country. Kishan Reddy said while there were 387 medical colleges in the country, the number has increased to 606 and while there were seven AIMS colleges in the past, the number of AIMS hospital has risen to 22. He also said another nine AIMS hospitals would come into being in 2024 to serve the public.
