Preaching Islam in Different Languages Can Decimate Communal Hatred

Book in Urdu on Maulana Maududi Released

Author of the book Ahmed Abu Sayeed with Professor Mohsin Usman Nadvi, Maulana Hamid Mohammed Khan, President Jamaat-e-Islami Telangana, MESCO Secretary Dr. Fakhruddin Mohammed, Dr. Rafiuddin Farooqui, Dr. Mujtaba Farooque, Dr. Faheemuddin, Maulana Rahmatullah Shareef, Dr. Islamuddin Mujahid, Mr. Asif Al Amoodi and Dr. Syed Fazil Hussain Parvez during the release of the book on Maulana Maudidi at Media Plus Auditorium in Hyderabad on Thursday evening.

Hyderabad, November 29 (Rahnuma): “To decimate communal hatred and spread the message of peace and harmony, Muslims must preach Islam in the language understood by the people of the said geographical area”, believed Maulana Abul Ala Maududi, the founder of Jamaat-e-Islami, reiterated Muslim intellectuals and scholars.

Speaking during the release of the book written in Urdu on “The life and achievement of Maulana Abul Ala Maududi at Media Plus Auditorium on Thursday evening, by the renowned scholar Mr. Ahmed Abu Sayeed, Muslim scholars said Maulana Maududi’s teachings are more essential in the present times when the country is going through a socio-political change.

Maulana Maududi, was not only an exegesis of the Holy Quran but also a Philosopher, Jurist and Journalist.

Professor Mohsin Usman Nadvi presided over the function, Maulana Hamid Mohammed Khan – President Jamaat-e-Islami Telangana will grace occasion while MESCO Secretary Dr. Fakhruddin Mohammed, Dr. Rafiuddin Farooqui, Dr. Mujtaba Farooque, Dr. Faheemuddin, Maulana Rahmatullah Shareef and Dr. Islamuddin Mujahid spoke on the different aspects of the life and services of Maulana Maududi. Mr. Asif Al Amoodi was also present on this occasion.

The author who compiled many books on the work of Maulana Maududi has covered the chronology of the events in the life of the revolutionary Ameer (leader) of the Jamaat-e-Islami in his voluminous book.
