Hyderabad, Aug.15 (NSS): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today announced yet another scheme for farmers in the state Rythu Bhima from the Golconda premises and later started Rythu Bhima program at Malkapur village. Earlier he hoisted national flag at his residence of Pragathi Bhavan and paid floral tributes to Martyrs’ Memorial at Parade Grounds.
From the fort after unfurling the national tricolour KCR announced that only to create confidence among the farmers the TRS Government is launching another significant scheme to provide insurance facility to the kin of the farmers in the state. He also launched Kanti Velugu at Malkapur later on.
The chief minister said that the government will handover Rs 5 lakh cheque in 10 days to the family members of the farmers in case of death for any reason. We have designed a model to ensure Rs 5 lakh is delivered at the doorsteps of the farmers he said. He said that the government will pay farmer premium every year towards the insurance policy and spoken with LIC for the purpose. (NSS)
