Hyderabad, Sept 19 (INN): Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav inspected the Ganesh immersion arrangements at Necklace Road in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
He said that the government has made all necessary arrangements for the immersion of Ganesh idols, which will begin on September 20.
“There are about 90,000 Ganeshas under the jurisdiction of GHMC. Information has been given to everyone before who should immerse where. The immersion arrangements have been increased. The government will stand by the members of the Utsava Samiti,” he said.
He also said that steps have been taken to ensure that no untoward incidents occur during the immersion celebrations.
