Swamijis demand govt to set right TTD affairs

Hyderabad, June 4 (NSS)Expressing concern over the developments taking place in Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam (TTD), several Swamijis demanded the state government to initiate steps immediately to solve the issue.

Hampi Peethadipathi Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Vidyaranya Bharathi Swamiji, Sripeetham a Sri Sri Sri Paripurnananda Swamiji, Hindu Devalaya Parirakshana Samithi founder Sri Sri Sri Kamalananda Bharathi Swamiji and various peethadhipathis—Pranavathmananda Saraswathi Swamiji, Matha Nirmala Yogi Bharathi, Sri Swaroopanandagiri Swamiji, Sri Chinmayanandagiri Swamiji, Sri Sthairyananda Saraswathi Swamiji, Sri Vidyaganeshananda Bharathi Swamijis participated in the meeting organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) here on Monday.

On this occasion, the Swamijis expressed concern over the developments taking place in Tirumala Tirupati and demanded the Andhra Pradesh state government to initiate steps to solve the problems. They asked the state government to set up Dharmika Mandals and eradicate the interference of governments and political leaders in maintenance of temples. They asked the government to protect the heir system and demanded the state government to clear the doubts came on Swamyvarri ornaments, which were allegedly missing. They also demanded the state government to remove the persons belongs to other religions and initiate steps to protect the sanctity of the religious systems.

They informed that they will announce their action plan after the meeting to be held at Tirupati on June 9. They said that they will announce Tirupati Declaration on June 9 and show the direction to the Hindu society to unite the Hindus. They called upon the people to come forward for the sake of ethical society.
