Hyderabad, May 12 (NSS): CPI State Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy today urged Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to take an all party delegation to Centre to keep the promises of bifurcation. In a letter, Venkat Reddy said that the Centre failed to resolve the bifurcation promises for the past four years. The BJP Government is neglecting the bifurcation issues and the state government should take initiative he said. High Court bifurcation, schedule 9 and 10 and 193 government offices, institutions, corporations and others have yet to be divided among two Telugu states.
Adding to their woes, fourth class employees of Telangana are working in Andhra Pradesh and some employees of the AP are working in Telangana. The Centre did not give national status to any big project in Telangana, no package for backward Mahabubnagar, Adilabad and Medak districts, denied funds to NIMS at Bibinagar, permission to set up a steel factory at Bayyaram, Coach factory at Khajipet and others.
