Bheemaram (Mancherial), May 13 (NSS): Three farmers died in the early hours today when thunderbolts hit Arepally village under Bheemaram mandal in Mancherial district.
According to reports, a farmer Ramtenki Rajaiah went to his agriculture field on Saturday night along with two other farmers Kummari Bapu and Jadi Ramesh to protect their crops from the rains.
In the process, they covered their crop with covers on their crops as the rain intensified. In the wee hours, the three farmers were died on the spot with the fall of thunderbolt. The family members reached the spot as the three didn’t come to their houses even after sun rise and found the three lay dead. The government whip Nallala Odelu consoled the deceased families.
