Hyderabad, Sept.25 (NSS): TRS Leaders today condemned the allegations levelled by Konda Surekha as baseless against the party chief and caretaker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and KT Rama Rao and others. TRS leaders Gundu Sudha Rani, Basavaraju Saraiah and Vinay Bhaskar lashed out at Surekha and Murali couple for leveling baseless charges against the party for denying them tickets in the ensuing elections.
Talking to the media, Sudha Rani said Surekha has involved in attacks against the TRS protagonists. She has no right to take on the TRS, Sudha Rani said. People of Warangal East segment are keenly watching the comments of Surekha against the caretaker Chief Minister and others, she said. She stoutly denied groups in the TRS as the party was being headed by KCR, whose word is final.
There was no groupism in the TRS party and everyone will abide by the word of Chandrashekhar Rao, Sudha Rani remarked. Surekha was going ahead with unilateral ideas and the people will not forgive her. KCR family members participated in the statehood movement and became leaders on their own with blessings of the people, she said. Stating that Konda couple has no right to talk about Professor Jayashankar, ideologue of Telangana statehood, she said the party chief will take any decision on issuing tickets for the elections.
Basavaraju Saraiah said KCR’s word is final and the candidate he selected will get one lakh votes majority in the segment. The people, who are watching Konda couple’s false allegations, would chase them away from doing corrupt rule in the segment, he said. He also said the people have got rid of from the Konda couple by denial of the ticket. There are no groups in the TRS and KCR word or decision is final, he added.
Vinay Bhaskar also said Konda couple was noted for settlements and attacks in the segment. Surekha read out a script written by somebody and has no truth in what she has lamented in the press meet, he said. KTR and Kavitha actively participated in the statehood movement and segment people are happy for denying ticket to Konda family, he added.
