HYDERABAD (RAHNUMA) : Dr. Adnan Altay Altinors, Consul General of Turkey in Hyderabad, visited the Challenger International School and Children Care Center with his family today to celebrate the National Sovereignty and Children’s Day of the Republic of Turkey with Indian children.
April 23 is the date of the establishment of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey in the year 1920.
Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic, gave this day away not only to the Turkish children but also to the world’s children as a present.
The Consul General mentioned that such a celebration was a fabulous thanks to the school administration and students.
The Turkish Consulate is located on Road No. 34, in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
