UoH VC felicitates NSS volunteers of National Integration Camp

Hyderabad, May 26 (NSS): Vice-Chancellor of University of Hyderabad Prof. B. J. Rao felicitated the National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers Aruna Anilkumar, Sameera Bindhu, Jalli Akash and Siddhant Shukla on May 25, who represented the University of Hyderabad (UoH) in the National Integration Camp, 2022 held in JNTUH Sulthanpur, Telangana from May 14 to 20, 2022.

Prof. Rao appreciated their participation and handed over certificates of participation in his office. He said their participation will encourage and motivate other students and suggested them to organize several NSS activities in the next academic year, both on and off the campus, to take forward the motto of the NSS.

NSS Program Coordinator Dr B. Krishnaiah also congratulated the volunteers on the occasion. National Integration Camps are hosted annually by a number of universities in coordination with the National Service Scheme to group together selected volunteers from all corners of the country in a 7-day scheduled activities. He said it provides them an opportunity to understand and build a stronger understanding of people from different States and regions of the country; thus, enabling them to identify the needs and problems of the community in which they live in, involving problem-solving activities and developing a sense of social and civic responsibility among them. Participation in camps such as these contribute to the experiences gained by the volunteers and stand as testimony to their unwavering determination to be part of the larger, integrative experiences and renew their commitment to the vision of the Scheme.
