Hyderabad, June 3 (NSS): The Hyderabad Metro Rail on Saturday launched collecting the user charges for using the toilets at select metro stations in the city.
According to the Metro officials, the user charges are collected at those stations where the passengers’ rush is heavy. They said that the public washrooms at these metro stations had been handed over to Sulabh International for the maintenance and collection of the user charges.
Officials said that Rs 2 is collected for utilising urinals and Rs 5 is charged for toilets from the commuters at the metro stations. They said the decision has been taken to provide the cleanliness at these metro stations.(NSS)
