Uttam hopeful of Congress return to power in State

Sangareddy, May 30 (NSS): Stating that Onteru Prathap Reddy will defeat Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in the coming elections, TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy has exuded confidence that the Congress party will come to power in 2019 elections.

Participating in the former Whip T Jagga Reddy’s deeksha demanding medical college in Sangareddy here on Wednesday, Uttam said the Congress party will abide by its word. The Congress party has the credit of fulfilling its assurance of free power to agriculture after coming to power, he said and alleged that KCR has no habit of sticking to his word. “KCR was indulging in propaganda thinking that the Congress party too will not stick to its word after coming to power”, he said. He made it clear that the Congress party will stick to its word at any cost and will waive Rs.2 lakh loan of farmers at one go after coming to power.

He said that the Congress party will establish medical college in one month after coming to power if the present government failed to do the same. Both KCR and Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao failed to console the families of the 500 farmers committed suicides in erstwhile Medak district. The KCR government sent Onteru Prathap Reddy to jail when he visited Osmania University where a student from Gajwel constituency committed suicide.

Uttam said that the state budget will increase up to Rs.1.90 lakh crore and easily the coming government will waive off the Rs.2 lakh loan. He warned that the coming Congress government will take revenge against the ruling party leaders and officials if they harassed Congress party leaders.
