Vamshichand allegedly attacked by BJP, TRS workers, rushed to NIMS

Hyderabad  (Rahnuma)  BJP leaders and workers from Kalwakurthy Assembly segment allegedly attacked Congress candidate from the constituency Challa Vamshichand Reddy. As a result, he lost his consciousness and was rushed to the NIMS hospital in the city.

The incident reportedly took place in Jangareddypalle village under Amangal mandal of Kalwakurthy Assembly constituency. The BJP leaders alleged that the attack took place when Vamshichand Reddy came to the polling station and asked the voters to vote for him. However, the Congress workers denied the allegations.

TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy has condemned the attack on his party candidate and alleged that the attacks were being orchestrated by the ruling TRS and the BJP as they were scared of facing a humiliating defeat in the elections.

He also urged the Election Commission to book cases against those who attacked them.

Meanwhile, clashes were also reported in Kodangal Assembly constituency from where TPCC working president A. Revanth Reddy was contesting.
