Visakhapatnam, Sept.29 (NSS): CPI National Secretary Dr K. Narayana today said Visakhapatnam had become the capital of ganja sale and Betting games. He alleged that Rs 350 crore were found with an anonymous person, who was involved in the betting racket and wondered as to how many hundreds of crore rupees were involved in the scam with others, who are involved in the scam and the sale of ganja.
He made it clear that the sale of cannabis and betting racquet would not go on without the support of the ruling YSRCP leaders. He alleged that efforts were being made to protect the accused of the sale of cannabis and betting racquet. He demanded that the Central government conduct an investigation through the ED in the scam as the State government did not order any inquiry into it. (NSS)
