Work for Bangaru Telangana, Errabelli tells ZP, MP Chairmen

Hyderabad, July 3 (NSS): Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao today said elected representatives of local bodies and municipalities should strive for achieving the goal of Bangaru Telangana.

Extending greetings to the new teams of Zilla Parishads and Mandal Parishads, Dayakar Rao asked the ZP chairmen, chairpersons and vice-chairmen, MPP presidents and others to not spare any efforts for achieving Bangaru Telangana dreamt by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. He said the Chief Minister was offering ideal rule in the country to achieve golden Telangana.

The Chief Minister was making unrelenting efforts for achieving all-round development and inclusive growth in the State, Dayakar Rao said. He also said the State government has been implementing welfare schemes, developmental programs to feed the poor. Explaining about Kaleshwaram lift irrigation multi-purpose project that was dedicated to the nation by KCR to irrigate about 45 lakh acres, Dayakar Rao said the Telangana State has already started Mission Bhagiratha, Mission Kakatiya, Haritha Haram programs, which are being appreciated at the national level. Even some States are following water and lakes revival schemes to push rural economy and provide better employment to people in the villages, he added.

“The newly elected representatives are responsible for implementing these schemes of welfare to the door steps of the people. You have to play a key role in successfully taking the benefits of the schemes to the people and help them lead better lives. Our duty is to see that all the eligible people get the benefits from the schemes.

Panchayat Raj wing has got a new Act at the behest of the Chief Minister to ensure rural development and guide the people to benefit from the schemes.

The minister said, “The new PR Act provides more powers and funds to the local bodies by dividing local bodies. The State government was working towards achieving rural development through all the schemes”, Dayakar Rao said, adding that the government was inspired with rural development plan to achieve State growth and maintain accountability. The minister also asked the representatives to inspire with that aim and partner in achieving Bangaru Telangana dream. (NSS)
